Cremation should be made the Uniform and Compulsory Method of Disposal of the Bodies of All People dying of Corona Virus as well as other virulent and fatal Infectious Diseases, regardless of Caste or Religion, to prevent their spread. Religion is not above Life. The Practice of Burial of bodies maybe safe, so long as the pit dug for the purpose is deep enough (it is supposed to be 12 feet deep for Corona patients according to WHO guidelines) to prevent any animal from getting access to it, or any natural phenomenon like rain or sandstorm washing away the earth over or around the body. HOWEVER, seeing how hysterically and violently some inadequately or ill informed people among our public react towards the persons who are employed in digging the grave and burial of bodies of patients dying of Corona Virus, (witnessed in the recent tragic and shocking attack by a mob on the Associate Doctor and attending ward personnel during burial of the well known Dr. Simon Hercules of Chennai who died of Corona in trying to save other Corona victims of it- in a pit of 8 to 10ft depth instead of 12 ft, and with bare hands by his colleague Dr. Pradeep Kumar, as he didn’t have a shovel and the grave diggers had run away on being also attacked by the mob, which was risky for him also), disposal of the bodies of people dying from Corona should be done by cremation in government run electric crematoriums than by burial, (as also in the case of Parsi victims, mostly centered in Mumbai, South Gujarat and Bangalore, whose bodies are kept on a platform exposed to the sky in the Tower of Silence, to become the food for scavenger birds). After all, it doesn’t make any difference to the departed soul, which method is adopted for disposal of his or her body, as long as it is done with reverence, but it concerns the safety of life of persons who Do the disposal. Hence the necessity of using the safest way for the disposal of the bodies of CoVid19 victims.

Should the Aboriginal Aghori Sect which is a Non-Puranic Shaiva sect of India, that is found performing carnal rituals near cremation sites, be considered a part of Hindu Society? NO! It is my personal opinion that it should Not be considered as a Hindu caste or rather should be socially and legally derecognised by the standard Hindus and the Indian Law as it brings Hindus the derogatory name of ‘Heathen’ meaning ‘Uncivilised’ by the developed nations. For it is known for obnoxious customs, like eating faeces, human sacrifice (still done secretly despite being banned by law as criminal practice, in villages, taking unfair advantage of the superstitions and blind faith of ignorant and gullible villagers and some townsmen, in getting their problems solved by propitiation of a pagan goddess- whom her devotees in Gujarat call ‘मैलडी माता’ meaning ‘Dirty/Black Mother’), Cannibalism, Sex Orgies with blindly believing women to help them out of problems and Exorcism, that are not only repulsive and immoral but also illegal practices, which should not be considered a part of Hinduism or Hindutva. The protagonists of the Aghori cult(which is different from the Nath Panth) glorify it and asribe high spirituality and mysticism to it by interpreting it as a highly evolved sect which has attained the ultimate communion with the Parabrahma through its rituals, by use of sophisticated and spiritual narrative. But all said and done, Whatever Looks Filthy and Perverse is ‘Tamasik’, that is, Dark, Dirty and Dubious, Not Glorious!
